A customer in the stone industry has bought an automatic self cleaning filter to filter the process water, which contains granite swarf.
\nAfter filtering by means of a settling tank and filter press, the process water still passes through a disc filter 130 micron, which is cleaned manually. This clogged too often and the process was stopped again and that is why they wanted to replace it with an automatic self cleaning filter, but also to get the water even cleaner. This is important for the internal cooling of the machines.
\nThe water for internal cooling of machines is then filtered afterwards by means of 10 micron filter cartridges.<\/p>\n
