CleanFlow offers a 304 stainless steel wire mesh filter bag. It has a rigid pore opening structure which tolerates a limited number of back washes. Pressure differential is acceptable which allows longer filter change-out intervals to further reduce the operating cost.As conventional fiber bags, SSM is also to be used inside of restrainer basket for support. Thanks to it’s better tensile strength, higher than average change out pressure differential is acceptable, allowing customers with longer filter change-out intervals thus further reduce operating costs.

The degree of effectiveness of these bags is dependent on the type of oil you are trying to remove as well as the differential pressure across the bag filter media. The greater the differential pressure the greater the propensity will be for the oil droplet to deform, and migrate downstream which you don’t want.For this reason we encourage you to use gauges on your housing to decrease your risk of forcing oil droplets downstream.
